Coconut is one of the products from Indonesia. Many processed products can be made from coconut. Although the global market is in dire need of these products, local producers in this sector are still in the process of responding to growing global demand.

Copra

 

Copra goes through several stages. The first step is to peel the coconut shell, then separate and dry the coconut granules. Coconuts to be used as copra should be stored several days in advance. The coconut shell is then removed with a tool made from scrap iron.
