Nouns - What is Noun?

The second part of speech is about nouns.  A noun is the name of a person, place, thing, or quality.

Person  : John, Jusuf, Miss Christine, the girls

Place     : Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Korea, Japan

Thing     : Ice cream, chocolate, my home, car, a green watch

Quality  : love, loyalty, honesty, braveness

A proper noun is the name of a specific person, place, or thing. A proper noun begins with a capital letter.
