Prepositions - What is Preposition?
The
fourth part of speech is prepositions. A
preposition is a word that shows the
relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and the rest of the sentence.
Common prepositions:
about, at, for, near, on, until, above, before, from, next to, with, after, by,
in, of, under, without.
Place : in the class , on the table, at
the hotel, near the river, next to my car.
Time :
in the morning, in March, for ten minutes, in 1987, at 07.09 PM
Direction : to the bank, from the bank
