Note! The latest requirements to enter Bali, Indonesia after Covid


Bali is one of the best international tourist destinations in Indonesia. 

After the Covid-19 pandemic, Bali has again opened visits for international tourists.


However, there are some notes that need to be underlined and obeyed.


According to the Circular Letter of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation Number 71 of 2022, there are several requirements for international travel to the island of Bali. 


This policy also applies from 17 July 2022 until a deadline to be determined later.


The following are the requirements that must be owned and need to be prepared before entering Bali:


1. Of course, buy an air ticket


2. Prepare your identity, passport, and visa


3. Prepare a physical or digital vaccine certificate


For travelers who cannot get the Covid-19 vaccine with media reasons, must attach a Doctor's Certificate from the country of departure.


4. RT-PCR test upon arrival


For passengers with body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius.


5. Quarantine


5x24 hour quarantine for passengers who have not been vaccinated or have received the first dose of vaccine.


6. Download and complete an account on the PeduliLindung application.


A total of 12 countries, including Russia and Ukraine, were added to the list of Visa on Arrival or a Visit Visa on Arrival (VoA) specifically for tourism (VKSKKW). Previously, VoA was only for citizens of 60 countries.


Quoted from the Immigration website, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in addition to Russia and Ukraine, the 12 new countries that are entitled to a special tourist Visa on Arrival are Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco, Oman, Peru, Serbia and Jordan. Citizens from these 72 countries can enter Indonesia through nine airports, 11 seaports, and four Cross-Border Posts.


This is stated in the Circular Letter of the Director General of Immigration Number IMI-0603.GR.01.01 of 2022 dated 28 April 2022 concerning Immigration Ease in the Framework of Supporting Sustainable Tourism during the 2019 CoronaVirus Disease Pandemic. 


Thus this information is to be understood and used as general guidelines before visiting Bali, Indonesia.
